The direct answer
Studio FYUL is a mono carton manufacturer based in Okhla, New Delhi. We create custom printed folding cartons for beauty, personal care, food outer packs, consumer products, gifting, wellness and retail requirements. A mono carton is generally made from a single printed paperboard sheet that is cut, creased, folded and glued into the required structure.
Good mono-carton packaging combines accurate dimensions, a practical closure, readable information and reliable print. The pack should protect the product sufficiently for its intended use, move through packing smoothly and communicate the brand clearly on shelf.
Share the product measurements, weight, quantity, artwork or reference, finish direction, delivery city and target date. If you do not know the carton style, send the product and explain how it will be displayed and packed.
Folding-carton formats
The structural style affects assembly, product access, strength and cost. The final dieline should be confirmed after the product and packing process are reviewed.
Top and bottom flaps close in the same direction. Often considered for regular retail products where simple filling and a clean front panel are useful.
Top and bottom flaps close in opposite directions. This common format can be efficient for many lightweight products when the product and board are suitable.
A pre-glued base can support faster packing and additional bottom strength. Product weight, board and assembly method need checking.
A printed sleeve can add information, branding or a secondary reveal around a tray, rigid box or existing product pack.
A window or display feature can reveal the product, subject to material, strength, dust protection and any relevant packaging requirements.
Hanging tabs, partitions, locking tabs and shaped panels can be considered when the retail, product or presentation requirement justifies them.
Decision guide
A simple carton often performs better than an over-designed one. Choose based on the product, filling process, shelf presentation and required information.
| Carton direction | Useful for | Main benefit | Check before approval |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tuck-end carton | Light retail products and regular packs | Simple familiar opening | Flap direction, dust flaps and product fit |
| Auto-lock base | Products needing a stronger or faster base | Pre-glued bottom supports assembly | Product weight and packing method |
| Printed sleeve | Trays, boxes and product bundles | Adds branding without a full new box | Sliding clearance and surface rubbing |
| Window carton | Products where visibility supports sale | Lets the customer see the product | Window material, strength and compliance |
| Partitioned carton | Multiple small items or components | Separates products inside one pack | Partition fit and packing time |
Selected work
These Studio FYUL projects show different approaches to branded product packaging. The right carton for your product should still be developed from the dimensions, information and intended retail use.
From brief to production
Share exact dimensions, weight, quantity, product orientation, packing method, retail use, delivery location and target date.
Select a practical folding style, closure and board direction. Allowance is made for product fit, folding, glue areas and any insert or partition.
Fit the approved design to the technical dieline. Text, barcode, legal information, colour and finish placement should be checked carefully.
The approved sheet is printed and receives the agreed lamination, foil, embossing, spot UV or other suitable finish.
Printed sheets are cut and creased, then glued or supplied according to the agreed carton format and packing requirement.
Paperboard and print
A mono carton has limited surface area, so information hierarchy matters. The front should communicate the product quickly, while side and back panels can carry instructions, ingredients, legal information, barcode and other required content.
Paperboard thickness, grain direction, print coverage, lamination and finish affect how the carton folds and looks. A heavy board is not automatically better; it should suit the size, product weight, closure and production method.
If the carton is for food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or another regulated category, the client should provide the applicable content, barcode, material and compliance requirements before artwork approval.
Delhi NCR enquiries
Studio FYUL is based in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I, New Delhi, and takes printed mono-carton enquiries from Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. Initial details can be shared by WhatsApp or email, including product dimensions, quantity, reference and delivery location.
For regular retail packs, it is useful to discuss both the immediate order and expected repeat requirements. Keeping the approved dieline, artwork and specification stable can make repeat production easier. Any brand, regulatory or product change should be reviewed before reprinting.
Delivery scope, cartons supplied flat or glued, packing arrangement and timing should be confirmed with the quotation. A local supplier can support discussions, but written approvals remain important.

Detailed answers
Detailed answers for teams sourcing printed mono carton boxes in Delhi NCR.
A mono carton is a folding package generally produced from one sheet of paperboard. The sheet is printed, finished, cut, creased and then folded or glued into the required box. Mono cartons are widely used for cosmetics, personal care, food outer packs, wellness products and consumer goods. They differ from rigid boxes because they use folding board and can often be supplied flat, making storage and transport more efficient for suitable products.
Yes. Studio FYUL is based at D-48, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I, New Delhi. We manufacture custom printed mono cartons and take enquiries from Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. To begin, share the product dimensions and weight, quantity, preferred carton style or reference, artwork status, delivery city and target date. The correct quotation depends on board, printing, finishing, gluing and supply format.
A mono carton is made from folding paperboard and is generally lighter. It can often be supplied flat or pre-glued and is widely used for retail products. A rigid box uses thick wrapped board, retains its finished shape and is usually selected for premium gifting or presentation. The choice should consider product weight, required protection, shelf use, packing speed, quantity, storage, transport and budget. A premium finish can be applied to either format when technically suitable.
Yes. The carton can be designed around the product dimensions and required clearance. Accurate length, width, height and weight are necessary, including any cap, pump, handle or accessory. The dieline also needs glue flaps, dust flaps, tuck areas and board-fold allowances. A carton that is too tight may damage the product or be difficult to pack; one that is too loose may allow movement and look poorly proportioned.
The paperboard depends on carton size, product weight, print requirement, surface finish, folding and budget. Different coated and uncoated paperboards may be considered. Board thickness alone does not decide performance; grain direction, creasing, lamination, ink coverage and structure also matter. If recycled content, food contact, certification or another material requirement applies, mention it at the start and request the relevant confirmation before approving the production specification.
Depending on the material and quantity, options may include offset printing, lamination, foil, embossing, debossing and spot UV. The artwork should be designed for the selected process. Very fine text, lines close to folds, large dark areas and finish registration can need special attention. Using fewer, well-placed effects often produces a clearer retail pack. Colours and finish positions should be checked in the approved production artwork.
A window can be considered when seeing the product helps the buying decision. The window shape and position should not weaken important panels or interfere with folds and glue areas. The project must also consider dust protection, product exposure, any film material and category-specific requirements. A window is not always necessary; a strong product image or clear information can sometimes deliver the same communication with a simpler structure.
There is no single MOQ that applies to every printed mono carton. Size, board, number of print colours, finishing, cutting, gluing and setup all affect the workable quantity. Share your actual order and expected repeat frequency. Studio FYUL can then discuss a practical route. A very small printed run may carry a high setup cost per box, while a larger quantity can change material planning and storage needs.
Pricing depends on the open sheet size, paperboard, print coverage, colours, lamination, foil or other finishing, cutting complexity, gluing, quantity, packing and delivery. A small finished carton may still use a larger sheet because of its dieline. When comparing quotations, ensure every supplier is quoting the same finished size, board, artwork coverage, finishes, quantity, gluing and delivery scope. A lower price based on a different specification is not a fair comparison.
Studio FYUL can support structure and artwork depending on the agreed scope. A technical dieline should be based on the actual product size and carton style. Existing brand artwork can then be adapted to the panels, folds and glue areas. Product claims, ingredients, barcode, legal text and regulatory content should be supplied and approved by the client. Visual approval does not replace technical checks for dimensions, folds, finishes and print readiness.
Time depends on board availability, quantity, artwork readiness, print, lamination, special finishes, cutting, gluing and approvals. A plain printed carton and a carton with foil, embossing and a window will not have the same timeline. Share the required delivery date at the beginning. A realistic schedule can be confirmed only after the specifications are frozen. Include time for artwork corrections, proofing or samples where applicable, packing and delivery.
Many folding carton styles can be supplied flat or in a pre-glued knocked-down form, which may reduce storage space. The client then opens and closes the carton during packing. Some structures, such as auto-lock bases, may arrive pre-glued but still fold flat. Supply format should be agreed because it affects gluing, packing method and labour at your end. Test how the team will assemble and fill the carton before a large run.
Check finished dimensions, product orientation, closure, artwork panels, folds, glue area, barcode, spelling, colours, legal information and finish placement. Confirm whether the carton is supplied flat or glued and how it will be packed. If the product is regulated, the client should validate all mandatory text and material requirements. Keep one final approved artwork file and written specification. Late changes after approval can affect cost, schedule and production consistency.
Studio FYUL takes printed mono-carton enquiries from Gurgaon, Noida and other Delhi NCR locations. Begin by sharing the product, dimensions, quantity, artwork status, delivery postcode and required date. Delivery scope and charges should be confirmed with the quotation. If repeat orders are expected, mention them separately, but do not over-order only to reach a price without considering storage, product updates and the risk of artwork becoming outdated.
Yes. Right-sizing the carton, avoiding unnecessary layers and considering paperboard, lamination and window materials can support a more considered pack. The right option depends on required performance, print and category rules. If you require recycled content, a particular certification, plastic-free construction or an environmental claim, state the exact requirement early and request supporting documentation. A paper-based appearance alone should not be treated as proof of sustainability.
